Born in Oklahoma in 2001 to an English mother and Native American father, Chylee Malarzewski spent her childhood on the windblown prairies of Midwest America. From a young age, she began to develop an interest in poetry & photography. It was in 2021 that Chylee discovered a passion for portrait and fine-art photography.  Known for her eye in conceptual beauty and candid sense of humanity, Chylee often captures the "lightening-strike" moments of her experience or the hidden messages revealed: "My eyes are the lenses of who I am, that perception given by God and shaped by everything I have ever experienced. These photographs are the closest way I have of letting you look through my eyes; like walking in my shoes or recreating a dream". Pictured here, a soft tones hilltop view of United States Penitentiary, Alcatraz Island, a 1970's Volkwagon bus, and "Pacific Queen", Balclutha cargo ship.
