Chylee Malarzewski

Born in Oklahoma in 2001 to an English mother and Native American father, Chylee Malarzewski spent her childhood on the windblown prairies of the American Midwest. From a young age, she began to develop an interest in poetry & photography and received her first digital camera at the age of 14. In 2020, Chylee met her husband Anthony Malarzewski and together they traveled to Southern Ontario where she discovered a passion and talent as a singer-songwriter.

 

After returning to the US in 2021, Chylee sought opportunities to expand her portfolio by offering photoshoots promoting local artists and entrepreneurs. It was during this time that Chylee met designer Gavin Coleman and businessman Trent Martin, who would later feature her in her first fashion show and vocal performance. At the end of 2022, Chylee and her husband released their debut song "Dream Of U"  with California producer, Major Club.

 

In the summer of 2023, Chylee traveled from Canada through New Mexico and California with her trusty Canon camera. There she created her first exhibition style collection later nicknamed “A Silver Feather in California” with a poem capturing the unique experience of a 1/2 Native person in all-white spaces.

 

As a young woman of 22, Chylee is learning to utilize her talents as a singer, poet, and photographer to convey the messages of higher purpose from her innerworld. With the release of this digital portfolio, Chylee plans to host her first in-person gallery exhibit featuring the photos and writings found in her collection at the beginning of next year.
